About Me

I have been a cycling fan for many nearly thirty years now, ever since the days that the legendary Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche ruled the cycling world, I once even raced against King Kelly whilst a junior in a 'Hamper Race' in Cork in 1992. That's Séan in front in the Festina kit, that's me on the right in the red and white stripes. I got 5th placed junior in that race, Séan gave me a cheque for £20..

I have worked for a number of betting firms including Betfair and Sporting Index and also spent two years as the head of marketing at the Racing Post.. so I know a thing or two about betting and writing about it!

I have been ‘tipping’ on cycling for several years now on the forum of the Kingston Wheelers cycling club and have now decided to give it a dedicated home of its own.

This blog is intended to be a fun, information site and any recommendations on here are my own personal opinions. Please gamble responsibly and feedback is always welcome, as long as it is positive!

I generally offer all my previews and tips for free, but I do charge a subscription for the Grand Tours to help pay for the running of the site and compensate me for the many hours I spend working on my previews. I am not paid by any of the bookmakers I mention directly, I make a very small commission from referrals if you do decide to sign up to them using one of my links. So please, if you enjoy the previews and are thinking about opening an account with one of the bookmakers, be sure to use one of my links, it helps pay to keep the site running!

Thank you for reading my site, share my link around and make sure you follow me on twitter too for all the latest updates!
